MISSION STATEMENT
To pursue truth, understanding, and the development of a body of knowledge about criminal justice through scientific inquiry.

To provide the criminal justice system with effective, efficient, and responsive human resources, operating within the constraints of a democratic society.

To provide basic and applied research, skill development and educational services consistent with the needs of a dynamic criminal justice system, and broad problem solving techniques concerned with social control and justice.
